helps a lot
This is the opposite of what Phil Mickelson suggests and he is one of the best putters I have ever seen. Google: phil mickelson putting 25 75. Phil suggests 25% length back and 75% length through. Maybe the moral of the story is different strokes for different folks...
Generally speaking, for an amateur, will a strong grip or a weak grip hit it longer?
what is a quick tip for the putts that I keep missing that are only4 inches longer than a club length?
Good tips!
I'm OK with shots 60+ yards but lesser yardage shots always give me problems. Increasing "flat spot" and completing rotation seems to work well for me. No more chunks and blades. Still need repetition to get better feel for distance but sure that will come with practice. Much thanks. Great tip.
Thank you Aimee enjoy your videos, very informative and easy to follow
What Devan said early on about feeling like the putter is dead weight falling into the ball is really critical. In fact, you don't want to just "feel like" this is what is happening, you want to actually do this. The bane of poor putters is manipulating the club and tension in the hands. Try it! With some practice, you'll find greater consistency in both the distance AND direction of your putts.
Should I leave the fairway woods in the bag when I am in the rough and not on the fairway?
Very helpful clip, which I’m confident will help in using fairway woods.
