Terrific tip! Only question is how do add this video to favorites. The ❤️ is nowhere to be found anymore next to the video title on the "Episode Information" tab. Maybe you could ask the IT people about that. Thanks!!
Sherman L.
I will ask the IT people how to do that. Not sure since I am new here. Thank you! Glad you like the tip!
Much to the chagrin of the golf pros, I have honed my wristy scoops to create a lob shot with the kind of backspin that stops on a dime. Thank you for the validation. If a technique works, it should become accepted teaching.
Peter H
Totally agree with you. This shot saved not only my husband on the PGA TOUR, but but myself, and now our son as well who is a very good amateur. If it works, use it.
Two Cindy Miller tips — “Straight on Purpose” and this one ,”the Chop Shot” — have helped me more than ANY of the hundreds of other GolfPass videos I’ve watched.
More Cindy Miller tips, PLEASE!!

Well, that was music to my ears! Thank you for sharing!
Hands forward? Do you close the face of the SW?
Barry S.
Yes, you close the face. When the ball. Is played back on your right foot, the face will be closed.
Oh baby does this work nice. Used a SW and a lob wedge from a buried Bermuda lie and the ball came out nice and ran out. Don't need to use much wrist action to get the ball running. Definitely a great shot for tight or buried lies.
Rob B.
Great news! So glad you tried it and had success!
Cindy used it on the course today in a scramble and chipped my first try in for a birdie. Decent lie in Bermuda but it came out great and rolled right in!!!
Rob B.
GREAT NEWS! Way to go! Thank you for trusting it!
Can I use a pitching wedge as well?
David F.
You can use a pitching wedge, but sand wedge is recommended. The pitching wedge may fly too far and roll out past your intended target.
Nice....I'm going to try it !! What is there to lose !!!
Andrew GW.
I guarantee if you do this correctly you will NEVER hit it fat again! Good luck!
